8th Annual Digital Africa Summit
This year's 8th Annual Digital Africa Summit is set to be Africa’s premier ICT business summit, creating more opportunities for learning, partnerships and business, with ICT’s, telephony and broadband being globally recognized as a prerequisite for social and economic development the opportunity to engage positive change has never been greater.
Africa’s ICT sector is the fastest growing globally with mobile and broadband penetration
rates set to continue to rise and with lower cost high speed broadband now a reality
companies must prepare and build solid foundations allowing them to take advantage of
the opportunities, that this exciting industry and continent has to offer. Thus, the
challenges to win in this new and dynamic environment are enormous making focus,
speed, cooperation and ongoing innovation imperative to its many members.
This year's Digital Africa Summit will take place between the 9-11 March 2010, with the
endorsement of the Ugandan Ministry of ICT and its Minister Aggrey Siryoyi Awori.
The Digital Africa Summit has evolved and built a reputation as the premier ICT business
summit in Africa, we have gained support from Industry Associations, Governments,
Ministries of ICT, Regulators, Services Providers and the leading Solution Providers.
